Results of WWII: the US helped Europe through the Marshall Plan to help rebuild Europe after the war's destruction, the US had an economic boom, the baby boom followed, women went back to working in the home as men returned to takeover most of the jobs, Europe was in debt, Hilter and Mussolini were dead, issues over the atomic bomb caused tensions in the Cold War, nuclear energy is now used as a consumer energy source
